‘Disappointing’ level of funds for Active Travel Schemes
THE disparity of funding for staffing levels for Active Travel schemes in South Dublin County Council compared to the three other Dublin local authorities is “disappointing”, according to a councillor.
In recently published figures, it was found that South Dublin County Council received the lowest level of funding for staff to carry out its Active Travel projects, totalling €700,000.
