‘Disaster’ of an oil spill at pond in Sean Walsh Park
AN OIL spill that has permeated the Whitestown Stream and the pond in Sean Walsh Park has been described as a “disaster” by a local wildlife volunteer.
The spillage was brought to the attention of Old Bawn resident and Kildare Wildlife Rescue volunteer Lisa McAuley last Thursday, July 20, by a member of the public who called her.
