Drunk driver caught speeding was seven times over the legal limit

A drunk driver caught speeding last night was seven times over the legal limit.

The motorist was clocked doing 121kmph in a 50kmph zone in Sallins by a stationary speed van.

The driver was eventually stopped by Gardai and was found to be seven times over the legal limit.

The driver also had no driving licence or insurance.

Gardai have reminded drivers never to speed and never, ever drink and drive.
