Dublin Fire Brigade tackled abandoned car fire in Fettercairn
Tallaght fire station tackled a blaze in Fettercairn last night (Sunday) after an abandoned car, which was filled with rubbish, was set alight.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) explained that firefighters used breathing apparatus to protect against toxic smoke caused by the domestic waste, which included items such as aerosols.
The fire also caused a potential hazard to those living in close proximity due to the fumes.
