Dublin grandmother to celebrate €60,000 Telly Bingo win by buying her grandchildren donuts
A delighted Dublin grandmother said she was going to celebrate scooping a €60,000 on Telly Bingo by buying her grandchildren donuts from their favourite bakery.
The devoted Telly Bingo fan has been playing the game every week since it was launched, and said she felt that one day she would score a major prize.
Speaking about the win she said: “I play three times a week and watch it live on TV when I can. On this occasion I was out of the house and watched a recording later with my daughter.
“I couldn’t believe that I had won. I have watched the recording over and over again just to be sure!”
“I don’t hurry things. I waited a while to come in to collect my cheque and I will take my time before deciding what to do with my winnings.”
The grandmother has no big plans for her win, apart from buying her grandkids their favourite treat.
She bought her winning ticket on June 29th in Tesco in Rush, Co. Dublin.
