From 10am to 12pm, a Sports4Fun session will take place to help children improve their gross motor skills, and will include fun games such as an obstacle course, bean bag game, parachute games and races.

Between 12.30pm and 2pm, the Cairde Club will provide a safe and fun environment where children with a primary diagnosis of dyspraxia and their siblings can interact in different types of play.

There will also be a Cairde Corner for children between the ages of nine and 12 to come together in a fun and creative way and work on building confidence and their social skills.

A number of activities are also being staged for parents including a presentation on the benefits of physio for children with dyspraxia, while at 12.30pm a talk on occupation therapy and tips to help your child will be delivered.

The siblings of children with dyspraxia are welcome but must be aged between six and 12 years.  The day is organised by the Dyspraxia Dublin South West Support Group and sponsored by South Dublin County Council and the Fettercairn Community and Youth Centre.
