€18k raised for charity project in Kenya in Laura’s memory
A FOOTBALL tournament was held in Bluebell United FC on Saturday July 1, to raise money for a charity project in memory of a Clondalkin woman who passed away last March after illness.
Laura Ferris passed away at age 37, but her legacy lives on through the work her family has undertaken to fundraise for a girls’ school and women’s refuge in Kenya in tribute to her.
