
Elderly man found on ground in freezing conditions by off-duty nurses

A MAN in his eighties was found lying on the ground in last night’s freezing conditions by two off-duty nurses.
Shortly after midnight, the nurses came across the elderly man at the Templeogue-side of Tymon Park.

According to Dublin Fire Brigade, the ground temperature was -4 degrees when firefighters from Dolphins Barn arrived at the scene.
The man was brought to Tallaght University Hospital as a precaution.
Dublin Fire Brigade has reminded people to check on vulnerable neighbours during the cold snap.
