Families told elderly residents will be relocated from nursing home

ELDERLY residents are scheduled to be moved out of Lucan Lodge Nursing Home on Friday (July 26), but families of the 22 people still residing there want the HSE to take over the running of the facility.

In May, the operators of the 74-bed Lucan Lodge, Passage Healthcare International Ireland Ltd, told families they failed an examinership.
