
Fire at Inchicore apartment complex being treated as suspicious

Gardai are treating a fire at an apartment complex in Inchicore on Monday night as suspicious, with an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
A fire broke out at Tyrone Place, Inchicore last night at approximately 11pm.
Four people were occupying the flat at the time, a woman in her 30s, two boys aged 12 and eight and a seven-year old girl.
The woman is in critical condition in St James’ Hospital. The two boys were taken to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, while the young girl was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for treatment.
Five Dublin Fire Brigade engines and five ambulances attended the fire. The scene has been preserved and a technical examination is ongoing.
Investigating Gardai are seeking witnesses to this incident or to anyone who was in the vicinity of Tyrone Place between 10.30pm and 12 midnight on September 18 to contact them at Kilmainham Garda Station on 01- 666 9700, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
