Fireworks in park are ‘concerning’

INCREASED activity of fireworks in parks in recent weeks is “extremely concerning”, according to Cllr Shane Moynihan (FF).

Cllr Moynihan has noticed an increase in fireworks being discharged in parks “having observed it myself in Hermitage Park last week.”

“This is highly irresponsible and dangerous behaviour, especially when residents and families are enjoying our public spaces. I have raised it directly with the Super-intendent in Lucan Garda Station, to request further garda visibility in our parks.”

He encourages residents to contact their local garda station if they are aware of it at local parks.
