Floodlit all-weather pitch would affect bat population
TALLAGHT Town AFC’s hopes for a floodlit all-weather pitch at their home ground in Carolan Park, Kiltipper, have again been dashed as planning permission has been refused.
On October 18, South Dublin County Council refused planning permission for the pitch as it “may have serious adverse effects on the bat population in the vicinity of the site”.
