Former AIB bank to become Buddhist centre
THE former AIB branch in Templeogue is to become a Buddhist centre.
Tara Buddhist Centre has been granted planning permission by South Dublin County Council for a change of use to convert the former bank branch at 279 Templeogue Road into a Buddhist education and meditation centre on the ground floor which will offer day and evening classes.
Permission has also been granted for a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor with a patio and for a flat-roofed office also on the first floor.
Permission has also been granted for the removal of the existing ground floor cladding to the front entrance façade and provision of a new façade with larger glazed window openings and the installation of front-entrance signage and first-floor gable logo signage and associated lighting.
