Four saved by fire fighters at Le Fanu House complex

FOUR people were rescued from the roof of a Ballyfermot building during a night-time operation by Dublin Fire Brigade.

On Wednesday afternoon, DFB announced on social media that they rescued “four people and pets” from a roof “using ladders following an apartment fire” overnight at the premises.

No serious injuries were reported by emergency services.

The Le Fanu House building, which is located at the junction of Le Fanu Road – also houses Seetec Jobpath Ballyfermot and the Ballyfermot Advance Project.

DFB said three breathing apparatus teams searched the building for other residents and extinquished the fire.

Fire crews from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn attended the scene.
