
Free Safe Talk – Suicide Alertness training in Tallaght Library

A FREE training programme that prepares participants to identify and help people with thoughts of suicide is being held in Tallaght Library this month.
Safe Talk – Suicide Alertness for Everyone is a half day training programme provided by the National Office for Suicide Prevention.
The free training will be held in Tallaght Library
Participants will learn the four basic steps to recognise when people have thoughts of suicide and how to connect them to suicide first aid resources.
The training is suitable for anyone who wants to help prevent suicide, including front line and community workers, volunteers, teachers and those responding to family and friends.
The training will be held on Wednesday, September 12, from 10am to 1.30pm.
The event is free however, booking is essential.
