GAA Academy get partnership and sponsorship from local Specsavers
SPECSAVERS has launched a partnership with Crumlin GAA Academy in Pearse Memorial Park.
The Crumlin GAA Academy provides coaching for children aged 3–8 years old and encourages both boys and girls in the local area to stay active and get involved in sport, including Gaelic football and hurling.
Philip Kavanagh, Store Manager at Specsavers Opticians Crumlin said ‘We are thrilled to be sponsoring our local GAA Academy in Crumlin. It is a central part of the community, and an extremely valuable resource to our customers.’
Specsavers and the Club marked the launch of the sponsorship by presenting the team with thirty bibs featuring the Crumlin GAA and Specsavers’ logos.
Specsavers Crumlin has contributed over €3,000 to the academy so far this year.
This is the result of a long-standing partnership between the Crumlin branch and the club, with there being many sponsorships over recent years, and this one being the biggest to date.
Denis Eustace, Coach at Crumlin GAA Academy said: “I am proud to have Specsavers Crumlin as our new sponsors of Crumlin GAA Academy.
“Specsavers have been a long-standing supporter of Crumlin GAA and this latest support further strengthens the bond between the two organisations.”
He added: “It was a pleasure welcoming Edwina, Philip and Daibhéid from Specsavers to our Academy on Saturday morning to have a look at the next generation of GAA superstars. We look forward to continued support with Specsavers in the future.”
Specsavers Crumlin looks forward to welcoming new and existing customers from Crumlin GAA Academy and further afield in-store.
