
Gardai appeal for public’s help after body of man found in burning car in Lucan
GARDAI are appealing for the public’s help in relation to the discovery of a man’s body in a car on fire in Lucan yesterday.
Investigations are continuing after the body of a man was found in a burning car in Mount Andrew Court, Lucan, on Monday, November 18, at around 8pm.
In a statement released this afternoon, gardai confirmed that the man’s body has been removed to the Office of the State Pathologist, where a post mortem will be conducted.
The statement added: “Gardaí are appealing to the public for any information in relation to a Navy Toyota Corolla 05-CW-2225.
“This vehicle was sold on 13/11/2019 and Gardaí are seeking information in relation to the movements of this vehicle from 13/11/19 to date.”
Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have information, including any road users who travelled in the area on the night of Monday, November 18, or who may have dash cam footage.
