Gardai arrest 17 people in Tallaght ‘day of action’

Gardaí in Tallaght, carried out a “day of action” on Thursday June 27, which culminated in the seizure of two luxury cars and the arrests of a number of people.

The purpose of the operation was to target persons who have outstanding warrants issued by the Courts in relation to offences including drugs, burglary, theft, road traffic offences and public order matters.

In total (17) seventeen people were arrested and will be dealt with in the coming weeks.

Gardaí also carried out a search of a residential premises in Saggart relating to a money laundering investigation and seized two cars (Mercedes C Class and a BMW 3 series) with a value of €60,000.

Garda confirmed “The purpose of the operation was to target persons who have outstanding warrants issued by the Courts in relation to offences including drugs, burglary, theft, road traffic offences and public order matters”

The operation involved Gardaí from Districts in Tallaght and Rathfarnham.
