
Gardai in Tallaght investigating death of a man in Brittas
Gardai in Tallaght are investigating the death of a man in Chianti Park in Brittas earlier today
Gardai from Tallaght and three units from Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene at approximately 2:30pm.
The man is believed to have passed away following a fire at a mobile home.
In a statement released to Echo.ie gardai said: “Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a male after a fire in a caravan inChianti Park, Brittas, Tallaght.
“The emergency services received the call at approximately 2.30pm.
“The body has been brought to Tallaght hospital for a post-mortem and the scene is currently preserved for a technical examination,
“The incident is not believed to be suspicious, however gardai are awaiting the results of the post-mortem and technical examination.”

Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed they were at the scene, tweeting via their official account: “Our thoughts are with the family, friends and neighbours of the man who passed away following a fire today in Brittas. 3 units attended.”
