
Gardai injured after disturbing juvenile burglary gang

TWO gardai were injured after chasing down and arresting two members of a juvenile burglary gang on St Patrick’s Day in Bluebell, reports Maurice Garvey.
The Echo understands a gang of four youths, got into a property on Bluebell Avenue at approximately 1pm on March 17, and stole €2,500 in cash.
Two gardai were injured
The gang were disturbed during the burglary by two gardai, and a chase ensued on foot, towards the Ballyfermot direction.
One garda suffered a broken wrist and another gardai suffered cuts to the leg, during the arrest of two members of the gang.
The other two members of the gang managed to flee.
