Gardai are to investigate CCTV footage
The Echo understands a gang of youths were asked to leave the premises by staff, and a staff member allegedly received a slap in the face from one of the youths.
One horrified local mother said she brought her kids to the KFC after the Clondalkin parade, before the unruly mob became disruptive inside the store.
“There was a group of noisy teenagers that started to break the balloons, and when the manager asked them to leave, they became very aggressive, broke the door, and the manager’s nose,” said the mother.
The incident was reported to gardai on March 18.
Clondalkin gardai are due to look over CCTV footage from the premises as part of their investigation.
