Gardai investigate assault and robbery of security guard in Tallaght
Gardai are investigating an assault that occurred at a retail premises at Killinarden, Tallaght, on Monday at approximately 11.30am.
Three youths entered the premises, one of which attempted to leave the establishment without paying for an item and was stopped by a security guard.
The youths then assaulted the security guard and stole his phone.
Investigations are ongoing.
