Gardai investigating alleged sexual assault in Clondalkin

Gardai are investigating an alleged sexual assault in Clondalkin in the early hours of this morning.

The alleged incident happened on the Ninth-Lock Road near the Neilstown Road junction at around 3am this morning.

Gardai are currently at the scene, with a cordon now in place around a specific area, and a technical examination of the scene will be carried out later this morning.

The extent of the victim’s injuries are not known.
