Gardai launch investigations after cars go on fire near estate

DUBLIN Fire Brigade were called to Tallaght last weekend to extinguish two vehicles alight at Kiltipper Gate.

In the early hours of Sunday, August 30, firefighters used high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire and prevent the flames from spreading.

There was no reports of any injuries.

Gardai confirmed to The Echo that they also attended the scene.

“Gardai attended the scene of an incident where two vehicles were on fire in Tallaght, Dublin on the 30 August 2021 at approximately 3.00am,” a Garda spokesperson said.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
