Gardai recover body in search for IT Tallaght student Jastine Valdez

GARDAI investigating the disappearance of IT Tallaght student Jastine Valdez have discovered a body of a female at Puck’s Castle, on the Dublin-Wicklow border.
The body has not been formally identified.
In a statement this afternoon, Gardai appealed for privacy for the Valdez family.
They also thanked the public, Defence Forces and Civil Defence for their assistance in the investigation.
Earlier today, Ms Valdez’s purse was found at the disused pitch and putt course at Puck’s Castle.
Last night, Mark Hennessy (40), the father-of-two suspected of abducting Ms Valdez outside Enniskerry on Saturday was shot dead by an armed garda in Cherrywood Business Park, South Dublin.
