Gardai seek witnesses to assault in Tallaght

GARDAI are seeking witnesses following a serious assault in the Tallaght area in February.

According to gardai, the assault took place in Kilcarrig on Thursday, February 15.

Garda said in a witness appeal issued today that a man in his forties was approached and assaulted by two males on February 15 at around 8.40pm.

“The assailants fled on foot after the attack. Although the victim required medical attention, his injuries were not life-threatening”, gardai said.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Additionally, individuals with camera footage from the area at the time are encouraged to provide it to investigating gardai.
