Gardai seeking dashcam footage as Clondalkin rape investigation continues

GARDAI have this evening confirmed to The Echo that no arrests have yet been made in relation to the alleged rape of a women in Clondalkin in the early hours of this morning.

As the community remains in shock over reports of the attack, gardai continue with their appeal for witnesses or anybody who may have been in the Newlands Road/Neilstown Road junction area around 3am and noticed anything suspicious.

Gardai have also asked people who drove through the area and who may have a dashcam in their car to view the footage for any information that could assist investigating officers.
