There was a lot of dancing at the crossroads during last year's event

The free event boasts fun, conversation and some damhsa, with local children also staging a special Irish dancing performance. Adults and children are also encouraged to dress up in pre-1930s clothes, such as pinny aprons, shawls, waistcoats and capain’s – with ‘best dressed’ prizes up for grabs.

Alongside a lot of music and craic, there’ll be ice cream stalls, burger and chips, tea, coffee and crêpes available on the night.

A monster raffle to support the re-development fund for the Glenasmole Community Centre is also on the cards.

Traffic restrictions will be in place, with Cunard road being closed at 5pm for the event.
