Google plans face concerns about potential environmental impact

AN TAISCE has lodged a submission in relation to Google’s plans to build a new data centre in Grange Castle Business Park, centred on the potential environmental impact it could have.

As reported in The Echo last month, Google Ireland’s planned new data centre will indirectly contribute 224,250 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum without any mitigation measures.
