Government accused of failing ‘our most vulnerable children’

AN OVER 80 per cent increase of young people waiting for first time CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) appointments since 2020, indicates a failure by government to protect “our most vulnerable children”, according to Dublin Mid West TD Mark Ward.

Ward, Sinn Féin’s spokesperson on Mental Health, described the increase in waiting lists as a “disgrace.”
