SOUTH Dublin County Council in partnership with Recycle IT will be holding a final household recycling day on Saturday, September 30.
Householders are invited to avail of free mattress, household hazardous liquid waste and electrical and electronic equipment recycling.
Waste can be dropped off at the car park at South Dublin County Council’s head office in Tallaght between 9.30am and 12.30pm this Saturday.
Vehicular access only via entrance on Belgard Square North.
This is a household only event, no commercial or industrial waste accepted.
According to the council, household hazardous liquids accepted on the day include;
Herbicides/Pesticides
Aerosols
Waste Engine Oils
Antifreeze/Coolants
Adhesives/Glues
Waste Paints
Paint Thinners/Strippers; White Spirit
Creosotes/Epoxy Resins
Cooking Oil
Cleaning Agents/Detergents/Bleaches
