Health talk on dementia in Tallaght this Thursday
By Mary Dennehy
A free public health talk on Alzheimer’s is being held in Tallaght on September 21 to mark World Alzheimer’s Day.
Organised by Tallaght Hospital, the talk will be staged in the Trustus Day Centre on Whitestown Way and will provide information on preventing dementia and ensuring brain health as we age.
Alongside discussing Alzheimer’s and dementia, the talk will also provide useful health information and tips and give advice to family members caring for a loved one.
Dr Sean Kennelly, Consultant Physician in Geriatric and Stroke Medicine at Tallaght Hospital, will deliver the talk.
The event – which is open to all members of the public free of charge – will be staged in the Trustus Day Centre, New Seskin Court, Whitestown Way, Tallaght, on Thursday, September 21, between 6pm and 8pm.
