High-shot Doyle returns to Bradford
By Hayden Moore
AFTER bagging 23 goals in 22 games for Swindon Town, Firhouse striker Eoin Doyle has had his season-long loan deal from Bradford City cut short.
The 31-year-old is the leading scorer in all of Europe and was directly involved in more than half of Swindon’s goals in League Two this season.

A former Shamrock Rovers player, Doyle joined the Robins back in August in a move from fellow League Two outfit Bradford City that saw him link up with manager Richie Wellens for a second time.
Doyle’s scintillating form saw Swindon to the top of the table as he became only the second player to score in 11 consecutive games in the English Football League.
But now, Gary Bowyer has recalled him to his parent club and he will link back up with his team-mates for training tomorrow ahead of their trip to Crawley Town on Saturday.
Speaking to the Bantams website, Bowyer said: “It is great to have Eoin back in the squad.
“To say he is bang in form would be an understatement and it is up to us to keep producing chances for him.
“He is a model professional, who looks after himself well. We look forward to seeing him scoring goals for us.”
