High threshold criticised for ‘affordable’ houses

A COUNCILLOR has criticised the high threshold needed to qualify for affordable housing in Clonburris and added that one of his constituents “feels discriminated” against because of it.

Speaking at a South Dublin County Council meeting on Monday, Cllr Derren Ó Brádaigh (SF) took issue with the amount of qualifying factors needed to be eligible for affordable housing in Clonburris.
