Homes rented at 60 per cent of their market value
APPLICATIONS are being accepted for cost rental homes in Citywest – which are being rented for less than 60 per cent of their market value – until midnight this Monday, March 20.
Called Parklands, the residential scheme is being presented by the Land Development Agency and consists of 95 houses comprising three- and four-bed houses, ranging from two to three storeys.
Rents start at €1,350 a month for a three-bed, two-storey terraced house, while the monthly rent for a four-bed, two-storey terraced house is €1,450.
Renters in a four-bed, three-storey terraced house will pay €1,460, significantly below market rates for similar properties in the area.
Applications are currently being accepted for 22 of the 95 houses, with all of the houses being released over the course of the next 16 months.
