A CITYWEST estate agents, which has been in business for over a year, has cemented its place in the community through involvement with local clubs, alongside providing estate agent services in an area that will see 1,000 homes built in the coming months.

Howley Souhan Estate Agents are located in Citywest Shopping Centre, where experienced auctioneers and estate agents David Souhan and Gavin Howley are at the helm.

The business partners merged two independent companies to form the business in 2015, which primarily focuses on residential sales and lettings.

Explaining the growth of the property market in Citywest, Mr Souhan said: “Citywest is really up-and-coming, there’s nearly 1,000 units being built in Citywest in the coming months.

“I’ve lived in Citywest since 2004, and over the last ten years there’s been a massive change in the area.

“There’s now more infrastructure, more amenities and more schools.”

Mr Souhan added that the business has recently become involved in a local GAA club in Rathcoole and also participated in the Four Districts St Patrick’s Day Parade.

Citywest was chosen as the location for the business as the business partners spotted a “niche” in the area as it didn’t have an auctioneers, and so they “saw an opportunity”, according to Mr Souhan.

He also added that Citywest is an attractive location for potential buyers because “you’re getting plenty of property for your money.”
