Huge success for Tallaght swim team
The Irish National Age Group Championships 2024 were held in the University of Limerick over four days, between July 11-14 with over 90 swim teams taking part!
The achievements of Tallaght Swim team has been nothing less than brilliant with just six swimmers competing for the club between the age of 12-14.
All swimmers made finals, three national titles were achieved, numerous more medals, and huge improvement and progression for all.
To recognise these achievements, the young team were crowned Swim Irelands “Best Club” bringing the annual plaque home to their training base at Tallaght Sports Complex, where it will remain until next year.
“Congratulations to all coaches, parents and swimmers involved and best of luck to their team mates taking part in the Youth and Senior Nationals next week,” said Michelle O’Neill from Tallaght Swim Team.
