
Ireland hockey international players give thumbs-up to new gym

MEMBERS of the Irish women’s hockey team were in attendance for the grand opening of the FLYEfit Tallaght facility, which saw a big crowd with giveaways, competitions, live DJs.
Tallaght has become the 11th location for a FLYEfit gym and is the biggest FLYEfit yet.

The state-of-the-art gym is located at Crosswest, beside The Square Shopping Centre and the final Luas stop in Tallaght.
To celebrate the launch, three members of the Irish women’s hockey team – Deidre Duke, Anna O’Flanagan and Chloe Watkins – paid the gym a visit on Saturday to try out the facilities, and show off their silver medals.
Deidre Duke said: “There’s so much going on at the gym, there’s something for everyone. The new KO8 resistant bands are awesome, and we loved giving them a try.”
Anna O’Flanagan said: “It’s a really cool set-up in the gym, FLYEfit have done a great job. The gym is massive, there’s loads of equipment and there’s so many classes to get stuck into.”
FLYEfit spokesperson Mandy Thomas, said: “FLYEfit Tallaght is our biggest and best gym yet. We were so excited to open this one to the public and the reaction has been great. It’s the latest gem in our collection of 11 gyms across Dublin and we’re really proud of the space, equipment and world class PTs on offer for members. It’s great to be leading the way in Dublin’s fitness revolution”
People can sign up to FLYEfit Tallaght for just €29 per month with a €25 joining fee.
