‘It’s like we’re dirt on their shoes’ say staff in Iceland

STAFF in Iceland are being treated like “dirt on the shoes” of senior management, after some wages have gone unpaid and staff have worked in sweltering temperatures, according to staff from the Tallaght shop.

In recent months, staff have noticed some wages going unpaid and, in recent weeks, had to endure working in high temperatures after the company’s head office decided to turn off the air conditioning.
