‘It’s overwhelming’ dog pound reaches its maximum capacity
A LOCAL dog pound that has reached maximum capacity is appealing to people to consider adopting dogs – and to understand that surrendered dogs can’t be accommodated immediately.
A sizeable number of the dogs that have been surrendered at the Dublin County Dog Shelter at Hollygrove Kennels in Newcastle are bull breeds, and they’re having difficulty finding adopters.
