JD Sports Tallaght seeking 40 seasonal sales assistants

The Christmas season is fast approaching, with JD Sports in Tallaght seeking to fill 40 seasonal positions at its store in The Square.

Operating 38 stores in Ireland, the sport wear chain is ‘immediately seeking’ to fill 1,200 seasonal positions, which includes 40 Seasonal Sales Assistants in Tallaght.

JD Sports in The Square is hiring seasonal staff 

According to a spokesperson for JD Sports: “Those filling the temporary positions will be responsible for maintaining customer service and assisting the Visual Merchandising team, for keeping stock areas clean and tidy, unloading and reception of deliveries and deputising for staff, amongst other duties.

“The full-time and part-time Seasonal Sales Assistant roles are available to cover the peak sales period between now, throughout Christmas and into the first week in January.

“The roles will be shift-based and may require early starts and late finishes.

“This is an opportunity for suitable qualified candidates to work with a brand leader in the sports and fashion industry at its stores across Ireland, to work wherever they live and to develop a successful career at JD.”

According to JD Sports, customer facing is required but not essential as full training will be provided to successful candidates.
