Like You a Little More: Keith launches latest single
Terenure-based singer-songwriter Keith McLoughlin is delighted to present his latest single, ‘Like You a Little More’, coming Valentine’s week! reports Ryan Butler.
Keith wrote lyrics and a melody about wondering if a friendship could develop into romance, and Rohan Healy and Al Quiff in Beardfire Studios contributed by providing the music to create an up-tempo song with a sound reminiscent of Daft Punk or Stereophonics.
Keith has been writing songs for a number of years with multiple different musician friends, including “the lads” at Beardfire Studios, in a process that consisted of them recording in “few hours” to put down all the instruments and vocals, and they would come back to him some days later with the final version.
They would also use TuneCore (where Keith’s friend Grace O’Donnell works) to upload the release to all online stores like Spotify, Amazon, or iTunes.
According to Keith, he has had the idea for the song since “mid-November” and only got the chance to record it in January.
Post-release, he has a few more songs in the pipeline and is hoping to release a second album next year; he will also be performing in a concert at The Cobblestone with some of the artists he has worked with on July 13.
He would like to thank Rohan, Al, and David Virgin of Beardfire Studios for helping him with ‘Like You A Little More’, which is out now.
