Local actor pleads for return of stolen motorbike

Local actor Johnny Ward has appealed to the public for their help in recovering his motorbike which was stolen from outside his Walkinstown home this morning.

The Fair City and Love/Hate actor took to social media this afternoon with the plea, and tonight he said the bike is currently in Ballymun.

Ward said the Suzuki Gsxr 600 must have been lifted into a van as the bike was locked at the time.

His post on Facebook was instantly shared by hundreds, and several people have contacted him after the bike was spotted on the M50 this afternoon.

In his original post he said: “GUYS! PLEASE HELP ME OUT! Some Scumbags have stolen my motorbike.

“My suzuki Gsxr 600(reg 07C 14625) was taken from my front garden in Walkinstown early this morning.

“They must have lifted it into a van as it was locked. Please Please can you share this post as I am so upset and please pm me with any info you may have.

“Everybody knows someone.”

Since then Ward said he has tracked down the bike himself, and this evening he said: “My motorbike is currently being driven at top speed in Ballymun right opposite Ikea.

“I saw the two lads on it myself. Please if anyone knows anymore. Let me know.”
