Trading Online Voucher Scheme – Grow your business online with help through the Government’s National Digital Strategy. The Trading Online Voucher Scheme is designed to assist small businesses with up to 10 employees to trade more online, boost sales and reach new markets. It offers financial assistance of up to €2,500 with co-funding of 50% from the business along with training and advice to help your business trade online.

Priming / Business Expansion Grants – A pair of grants aimed at supporting businesses through their initial start-up and growth phases. The grants can be used by eligible businesses to cover costs such as capital expenditure, salary costs, marketing and overheads up to a maximum of €80,000 or 50% of eligible expenditure.

Feasibility Study Grant – This designed to assist the promoter with researching market demand for a product or service and examining its sustainability. It includes assistance with innovation including specific consultancy requirements, hiring of expertise from third level colleges private specialists, design and prototype development.

TAME Grant – A Technical Assistance Grant is a business development grant available to micro-enterprises to explore and develop new market opportunities. Technical Assistance Grants will part-fund the costs that can be incurred in investigating and researching export markets, e.g. exhibiting at Trade Fairs. The grant covers 50% of eligible costs (net of vat) up to a max of €2,500.

Business Support Fund – There are four funds specifically designed to address key issues for businesses in the County. Three of the funds support physical works and are aimed at encouraging occupiers to improve the investment potential of industrial estates or units in which they are resident. One of the funds is specifically aimed at supporting existing small-scale businesses and start-up businesses utilising previously vacant units.
