Loud explosions heard as DFB battle fire in Clondalkin

Dublin Fire Brigade are currently battling a fire in Clondalkin in the Station Road area.

Three units from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn are on the scene.

Locals took to social media just after noon with pictures of heavy smoke in the area, and it has been confirmed that the fire is at portacabins located on or near Station Road.

One resident has reported hearing loud explosions and has said Station Road is now closed.

People in the area are asked to keep their windows closed and take caution in the area.
