Luas link corridor go-ahead for hospital

TALLAGHT Hospital has been given the go-ahead for refurbishment works to its Chaplaincy Department corridor, linking the hospital to the Luas stop.

Connecting the Luas stop with the hospital has been under discussion for some time.

The permission means that the corridor, which is located at the south-west end of the Tallaght Hospital campus will provide a new pedestrian access lobby linking to the stop.

Permission for the development was granted on July 15, with the reinstatement of the existing landscaping and existing level access included.
