Lucan pool opening in deep water with possible €20m costs
LUCAN swimming pool is not expected to open until early 2025 and a post project review is to be conducted by South Dublin County Council following numerous delays.
Speaking at the July council meeting, chief executive of SDCC Colm Ward said they had hoped the pool would be finished by now but couldn’t discuss full details with councillors due to “sensitivities” surrounding a live contract.
