Lucan runners take their share

LUCAN Harriers was well represented at the Dublin Masters Cross Country Championships in St. Anne's Park on Sunday.

Niamh Fitzgerald led the club’s ladies home in third overall, with her time of 12.26 good enough to see her also win silver in the F40 division.

Next home for Lucan was Lorraine Heffernan who crossed the line in a time of 14.11 earning herself fifth place in the F45 category.

She was closely followed by Hilary McGee in 14.14 with Kathleen Trunk clocking 15.25 and Eileen O'Brien 18.08 which earned her bronze in her respective age category.
