He is one of two new signings for Bourne-mouth’sUnder 21s with striker Mikael Ndjoli also agreeing a one-year deal.

Team manager Stephen Purches is looking forward to working with Travers saying “we were recommended him for his form over in Ireland and he came in here and made a real impression.

“It wasn’t just myself who was impressed, but everybody from the first team staff. He’s a lovely lad and he’s got a lot of attributes for someone so young.

“Hopefully we can give him a chance to grow here in the long-term amongst a group of really hungry and talented goalkeepers, who will push each other all the way through” he added.
