
Man arrested after drugs seizure in Clondalkin
GARDAI attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit in Lucan seized diamorphine and cannabis herb worth an estimated €186,000 at a house in Clondalkin yesterday.
As part of ongoing investigations into drug dealing in Dublin, gardai executed a warrant at a house in Clondalkin on Sunday evening, August 25.

According to a Garda spokesperson, during the course of the search of the house, gardai located diamorphine and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €186,000 (subject to analysis).
Other drugs paraphernalia were seized, and one man arrested.
The Garda spokesperson said: “The man (early 40s) was arrested and taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
“Investigations ongoing.”
